LGBTIQ+ Inclusion in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Agenda – 2022
This review has been prepared by the Kazakhstan-based feminist initiative Feminita, highlighting efforts toward the inclusion of LGBTIQ+ perspectives within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Agenda 2030 in Kazakhstan.
Feminita is a grassroots LBQT feminist initiative that focuses on advocating for the human rights, needs, and empowerment of LBQT women. The organization addresses a wide range of issues including gender equality, sexual harassment, environmental sustainability, inclusive journalism, and the rights of minority groups.
At both national and international levels, Feminita collaborates with allies and human rights defenders from various sectors to advocate for comprehensive anti-discrimination laws in Kazakhstan, working toward a more inclusive and equitable society aligned with the principles of sustainable development.
