Spotlight Report: Zimbabwe 2024
This report highlights key milestones that the Zimbabwean government has taken to improve the lives of all LGBTIQ+ Zimbabwean citizens, more specifically around SDGs 1, 2, 3, 13, 16, and 17. The report will share insights on some of the key challenges LGBTIQ+ communities have faced concerning the Agenda 2030.

Spotlight Report: Tajikistan 2023
Tajikistan is a Central Asian country that has ratified most of the core UN human rights instruments and has committed to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
Tajikistan endorsed the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development at the United Nations Summit in September 2015. The new agenda, which implies the country's transition from the MDGs to the SDGs, is based on a comprehensive and inclusive approach to sustainable development in Tajikistan.
Spotlight Report: Turkmenistan 2023
In Turkmenistan, progress has been made towards achieving the SDGs, but significant challenges remain. For example, Turkmenistan faces issues such as gender equality, the criminalization of same-sex sexual activity, and the failure to implement recognized HIV prevention and treatment measures which pose significant barriers to achieving sustainable and equitable development. Addressing these challenges requires a comprehensive approach that takes into account the unique social, economic, and environmental factors that affect the country.

This Spotlight Report on Uzbekistan (2023) was prepared by anonymous LGBTIQ+ researchers who, due to concerns for their safety, cannot disclose personal data. The researchers represent the Central Asian Gender and Sexuality Advocacy Network (CAGSAN). This report was supported by the Power of Pride alliance that brings together COC, Pan African ILGA and ILGA Asia in a five-year partnership (2021-2025) with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
